Cancellation Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2025
1. How Parties Work
Each Neighborhood Wash Party requires a minimum of 3 confirmed homes (not including the block captain) by the party's deadline for the service to proceed. If the minimum is not reached, the party is automatically cancelled and all deposits are refunded in full.
2. Automatic Cancellation
A party is automatically cancelled when:
- The booking deadline passes with fewer than 3 confirmed neighbor homes.
- An operator cancels the party due to weather, scheduling conflicts, or service area changes.
Upon automatic cancellation, all participants who paid a deposit receive a full refund to their original payment method within 5–10 business days via Stripe.
3. Participant Cancellations
Individual participants may request a cancellation of their spot. Refund eligibility depends on timing:

4. Operator Cancellations
In the event of operator cancellation (weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances), all confirmed participants receive a full refund regardless of timing. We will make every effort to notify participants at least 24 hours in advance by email and SMS.
5. Pricing Adjustments
Prices are dynamic and decrease as more homes confirm. Your deposit is charged at the rate applicable at the time of your booking. If additional homes join after you confirm, your price may decrease — in that case, the difference is credited back to you or applied as a service discount at our discretion. Prices never increase after you confirm.
6. Captain Rewards
Block captains who successfully recruit 3 or more neighbors (4 total confirmed homes including the captain) earn a complimentary driveway wash. This reward is forfeited if the party is cancelled for any reason. The reward is non-transferable and has no cash value.
7. Referral Credits
Referral credits are applied as discounts on future services. They have no cash value, are non-transferable, and expire 12 months from issuance. Referral credits are forfeited if the referring participant cancels their own booking.
